Privacy
Vocatus is a free study tool built for examinees, not an advertising business. We collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and your written answers are yours alone.

What we collect
- Account: when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and avatar — the default profile details, nothing more.
- Profile (optional): your law school and target bar year, if you choose to add them, so the dashboard can speak to you.
- Your practice: the answers you write, the mode and time you took, and when you practiced — so your attempts and progress can be saved.
How we use it
Only to run your account and show you your own work — your saved attempts, your history, and a progress view over time. That's the whole of it.
Who can see your work
You. Your attempts are private to your account and protected at the database level — no other user can read what you wrote. We don't publish, share, or sell your answers or your identity. The questions and suggested answers themselves are public study material.
No ads, no trackers
There are no advertisements and no advertising or analytics trackers following you around. The Bar Passer Picks are clearly-labeled affiliate links; if you click one you'll go to a third-party shop with its own privacy policy, but we don't share anything about you to place them.
Service providers
We use Google for sign-in and Supabase to host the database and authentication. They process this data on our behalf so the app can work; they do not get it for their own marketing through us.
AI grading (not yet active)
The AI examiner is still in development and is turned off. If and when it launches, an answer you submit for grading would be sent to an AI provider to score it — and we'll update this page before that happens. Today, nothing you write leaves the app for AI processing.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your data or have your account and attempts deleted at any time. Reach us at [email protected] and we'll take care of it.
